Richard

About Me

I grew up in Hartford, Connecticut, and earned my degree in Psychology from the University of Connecticut. During my career as a Social Worker, I married Judy, my love at first sight, and changed my career to become a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC). We moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where we now reside, and raised three sons.

Over the years, I grew professionally and became a President of Legacy Financial Services, and earned numerous accreditations.

Today, I continue as a ChFC and as a motivational speaker to assist people with Surviving Crisis.

Sharing and Opening-up

While writing my book, I experienced a tremendous catharsis when I opened up about the crisis I faced in life. That’s when I started to talk with casual acquaintances about my book and thoughts. They, in turn, confided their difficult stories with a sense of relief that they were not alone.

With my family in fluctuating states of chaos, I told my personal story as it continued to unfold. As I always say, "Life is a journey."

Embrace Life

My book, The Protector, was written to be a gateway for others, especially parents, to open up and seek support rather than feeling shameful or guilty while continuing to suffer from their problems in silence.

By demonstrating my positive outlook and passion for life despite leading a harsh life with heartbreaking experiences, I chose peace, created joy, and embraced the blessings of life, in each day. If I can do it, then you can do it too,

If through my book, I can help parents and others to cope up with life more effectively, then that would be a worthy accomplishment.

Key Takeaways

By being candid about my world, I encourage others, especially parents, to open up and seek support rather than feeling shameful or guilty and suffering from their problems in silence.

I always have a positive perspective towards life, no matter what situation I face. I look forward to each new day and live my life with passion, and I encourage others to realize that they, too, have the choice to find peace and to create joy in their lives.

I invite you to read The Protector and initiate discussions about life's journey, which is full of choices.

LIFE Is About the Journey

When you think and live positively, your life becomes passionate, and you fight for what you want. Focus on what makes you happy and enjoy the journey rather than the destination. That way, even in times of crisis you will not lose your passion to keep fighting. Enjoy LIFE!
